What’s Allowed & Not Allowed In A Dumpster Rental
It is important to understand what CAN and CANNOT go in a Dumpster Today dumpsters. Please read below to learn proper “Dumpster Etiquette” and what specific items are allowed or not allowed in a dumpster rental.
ALL DUMPSTERS HAVE A MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF 4 TONS (8,000 lbs) AND A MAXIMUM FILL LINE THAT CANNOT BE EXCEEDED. THIS IS FOR SAFETY & LEGAL REASONS. DO NOT FILL OVER FILL LINE.

Completely Empty Aerosol Cans
ONLY IF completely empty. IF EMPTY, these can be put in the dumpster but if they are full, or even partially full, they are prohibited.

Storm Debris
This includes all uncontaminated and non-hazardous materials. Most damaged building materials and yard waste are permitted, provided they fall within the debris restrictions of the service area. However, Storm Debris CANNOT be mixed into the same dumpster with Recyclable Yard Debris (tree limbs). IF YOU NEED TO RENT TWO DUMPSTERS, LET US KNOW!

Yard Waste
Limbs, shrubs, and leaves are allowed but you CAN NOT MIX YARD WASTE WITH ANY OTHER MATERIAL. This means you may not mix this debris in the same dumpster with other household or construction trash. IF YOU NEED TO RENT TWO DUMPSTERS, LET US KNOW!

Chairs, tables, nightstands, bookshelves, beds, and mattresses are permitted.

Dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, washers, dryers are permitted, BUT REFRIGERATORS or AIR CONDITIONING UNITS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

TVs, computers, printers, and other personal electronics in small quantities are allowed.
